Reviews:
* The Cadillac ATS is a first: an entry-luxury sports sedan with rear-wheel drive and great performance from an American manufacturer. If that appeals to you, head down to the local Cadillac store and give it a try. Source: KBB.com
* Excellent handling; fun-to-drive character with either 2.0-liter turbo or V6 engine; cutting-edge interior design. Source: Edmunds
* Athletic and expressive, the 2014 Cadillac ATS exquisitely fuses form with function. Besides giving it a bold, distinctive appearance, its taut lines allow the ATS to slice through the air, while brilliant details like the available illuminating door handles add sophistication. The ATS includes stunning painted or polished 17-inch wheels surrounded by performance tires. Available polished or machine-finished 18-inch wheels also make a powerful impression. The available vertical headlamps with LED light signatures are as brilliantly designed as they are just plain brilliant. The ATS reveals its refined side in the precise, handcrafted cut and sewn interior. Available leather seating surfaces come in an array of rich colors complete with French stitching and are finely accented by distinct interior themes. Complementing the athletic nature of the ATS, available bolstered performance seats with thigh extenders are not only remarkably comfortable, but help keep you firmly planted during spirited driving. The welcome warmth of the available heated front seats and steering wheel is the perfect antidote for a cold winter morning. Choose from three engines, the powerful and efficient 2.0L turbo that delivers an impressive 272 HP; the award-winning 3.6L V6 engine that boasts 321 HP; or an exhilarating 2.5L engine that, along with the 2.0L turbo, offers over 30 mpg hwy. The available Tremec 6-speed manual transmission was designed exclusively for the ATS and is available on the 2.0L turbo engine with RWD. With the ability to use multitouch gestures like tap, swipe, and pinch, the available CUE is as easy to use as a smartphone or tablet. Find a song, make a call, input destinations through the available navigation system, and more through voice recognition. Using a combination of radar and vision-sensing technology, available full-speed-range Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a selectable preset distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. I kept every service invoice for the 26 breakdowns . The car handled well .but feels toyish because of how light it is. overall very big disappointment for a 50g performance model. But Gm to their credit bought it back.

First let me say, I own a MB C300 and have owned a Lexus IS, and BMW 5 Series. Previously I would have NEVER considered this car. I researched the BMW 1's &3's, Audi A4, and MB C300 and found this car to offer more for the money. Finally Cadillac has what I believe a car to be superior to those above. I'm still not a fan of the hard angle exterior, but the interior treatments match and IMO are better than the competition. I believe you will find the same things I found. I purchased the entry level model as it is for my wife's commute. I would have purchased the Luxury line, but she was satisfied with the entry level and the price was right. The base engine is sufficient, but not impressive. I'd recommend you test drive the turbo and decide for yourself. We both love the car and it is expected to hold its value to match the imports. T me, this purchase is a no brainer and as someone who has owned nearly every German made vehicle, this one has me sold
  • A car that compete BMW, Mercedes, Audi

I searched a lot about ATS 2.0T. I viewed about 15 youtube videos, and drove ATS, Merc, BMW, Audi. ATS really competes with its sisters. Great performance, great brakes (Brembo), great acceleration. Mileage is not that great, 20mpg. The drawbacks are: small trunk, small rear compartment, but doesn't bother me as I use the car for commuting. Cue is a little annoying. I wish it was like other sisters, a control next to the gear to be handy. Chair is comfortable. There are few settings that don't work even I talked with the dealers. Passive door unlocked and remote heated seat. I turned them on and they do nothing. I like passive door lock, you just get out and walk away from the car and it locks itself. Moon roof is designed in stupid way. There is a small lid pops out when moon roof is open which has a filter that cause loud noise when driving above 35MPH. Pricing is very good, just search for deals. I got mine about $100 monthly less than BMW, Audi, Merc.
